Definition of the term Reverse Triangular Merger...

a merger in which the buyer forms a subsidiary, which becomes part of the target. The buyer’s subsidiary ceases to exist as a separate entity, while the target becomes a subsidiary of the buyer. Compare to forward triangular merger.
